What is UPP?
“Where are you going to college?” is a common question high school students around the globe receive. After some “umms” or “uhhs”, international students typically say the most famous school that comes to mind. However, choosing the right college requires a lot of thought and research. As the U.S. application process is constantly changing, it is hard for those outside the country to even know where to begin.
UPP (University Prep Pro) is a 13-day immersion program designed for the global student looking to attend university in the United States. We focus on what matters most to you: selecting the best college, test preparation planning, and the college application process. We visit nine of California’s best public and private universities, meeting with admissions counselors, current students, and alumni. We gain inspiration from top tech companies in Silicon Valley and the iconic Hearst Castle. Plus, you’ll get real-life experience revising and crafting a personal statement that is YOU. Our Meiguo Education staff will be there to give you the tools you need to succeed. Once you decide to go UPP, the sky’s the limit.
UPP 2013 will take place January 26 to February 7, 2015 in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California.
